Importance of Nutrition

Our bodies use nutrition to perform every function of our daily lives. From keeping our immune system running to growing hair and nails, nutrition is an intricate part of living.

The same is true for every living being on the planet. Plants, animals and insects all consume and utilize nutrition from the world around us to live. It's a natural and fundamental concept.

You're asking, how does that affect me?

Simple. We cannot expect to get more out of something than we put in. For example, if you build a fire, you cannot expect to get a bigger flame than the amount and type of wood you put on it. There are a thousand examples; racecar/fuel, bicycle/cyclist and lightbulb/electricity to name a few.

You cannot expect your body to perform better than the food, water and nutrients you eat. If all you consume is softdrinks and twinkies, you're not going to be a star athelete. Star athletes consume vast amounts of fruits, vegetables and supplements because they want high performing bodies.

Simple! But not easy...

Nutrition In Our World

We've established the importance of nutrition in our life.

Don't we get enough nutrition from our food?

An article from the Journal of the American College of Nutrition titled "Changes in USDA Food Composition Data for 43 Garden Crops, 1950 to 1999" published in 2004 compares nutrients of 43 standard crops for the years 1950 and 1999.

From 1950 until 1999, the nutrients in our food has severely decreased!
  • In broccoli, calcium was depleted by over 60%, iron by over 32% and Vitamin A by over 50%!
  • In carrots, calcium was depleted by over 30%, iron by 37% and protein by 15%!
  • In green beans, calcium was depleted by 43% and Vitamin C by 14%!
  • In cabbage, riboflavin was depleted by 20% and Vitamin C by 35%!
  • In spinach, Vitamin A was depleted by 28%, thiamin by almost 30% and Vitamin C by 52%!

Unfortunately, that's just the start. You should read the entire article to understand the depth of the problem.

If that's what has happened to the traditionally "nutritious" crops, what must our packaged, processed foods be like?

The fact is, you can no longer count on a "balanced diet" to give your body everything it needs to function properly.

What if you only added 50% of the gas needed for a full tank? What if you only put in 70% of the oil your car needs to function? What if you deflated your car tires by 25%?

It's not a pretty picture! So why do it to your own body?

Why has this happened?

There are a few reasons for the depletion of nutrients in our foods.

1. Overuse of agricultural soils

Farmers have been growing ever-increasing crops with demands for higher yeilds. This uses the nutrients in the soil and doesn't give it time to rest.

2. Use of fertilizers increase water content

The use of agricultural fertilizers usually increase the amount of water in crops, displacing the usual nutrients.

3. The Second Law of Thermodynamics

From the beginning of time, everything has been moving from order towards disorder. Mountains erode, stars die and DNA degresses.

It's a natural part of life and we have to be vigilant to maintain our way of life. And, sometimes, we're just dealt tough cards.

But, the good news is, there is good news! And I believe I've found the answer. It may not be the perfect cure-all, but it's as good as I've ever seen.

The Answer

I am confident that the answer is powerful, proven nutritional supplements.

If the food we normally consume does not have what we need, the only option is to supplement it.

Additionally, not just any supplement will do. Natural foods contain certain nutrients in specific ratios which work synergistically to allow the body to use them in thier intended way.

Buying a bunch of random herbs and potions won't do the trick.

I can put you in touch with people who've had amazing results on our products.

Give your body a chance!

Obviously, I can't and don't claim that my nutritional products will cure any disease. All I know is that I've met people with incredible - almost too incredible - stories, and they believe in this product with all their hearts. I take it too, every day! And I love it.
